The EMD SD40-2 is a 3,000-horsepower diesel locomotive built by EMD from 1972 to 1989 for many railroads including NS, Union Pacific, ATSF, Baltimore and Ohio, Burlington Northern, BNSF, Chicago and North Western, CP, CN, Conrail, Kansas City Southern, Norfolk and Western, Southern Pacific, Southern Railway, and many other railroads.
The Norfolk Southern railroad owned 352 SD40-2s with the EX-SOU, NS 3505 and 3506 rebuilt with the Admiral Cabs.

If Dovetail Games created this, it would be in NS throughbred, one with an Admiral Cab, with the old NS logo and if they were to create the Admiral Cab, Dovetail Games must look at the interior of the Admiral Cab. The rolling stock could be a Husky Stack wellcar with 53ft containers, NSC wellcar with containers, an articulated autorrack known as the AutoMax in NS, and a Triple Crown Service RoadRailer.
