INTRODUCING RAILFAN MODE
There's nothing like standing on your favourite platform, overpass or footbridge watching your favourite trains drive past while you capture the whole thing on your favourite camera. The truth is, all railfans love everything about this whole experience, of not knowing what's going to come around the curve or through the tunnel next. Many people think that it's easy, that capturing the perfect shot is simple - most railfans will compare it to trying to capture a perfect portrait of your favourite person while they're moving at 70mph or more and most railfans are so good at photographing trains, they can do it in their sleep!
For years our railfans have been recreating this entire experience in Train Simulator but unlike real life, you always know what's coming and when - until now. We thought it was about time we looked at bringing this vital part of being a railfan to Train Simulator.
In TS2016, we're incorporating our brand new Railfan Mode to all of the routes featured. Position yourself at the perfect spot and wait for your favourite trains to drive past, all the while capturing it using your screenshot capture key of choice.
